1. Warranty Coverage

GATTA warrants to the original purchaser that the product is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the purchase date.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not issues caused by use, wear, or external factors.

2. What Is Considered a Manufacturing Defect

A valid defect includes ONLY:

  • Stitching that separates due to improper construction

  • Hardware failure (zippers, buckles, metal components) that is not caused by force or improper use

  • Material defects that appear without signs of wear, misuse, or stress

3. What Is NOT Covered (Clear & Strict)

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scuffs, marks, abrasion, stretching, softening of leather, fraying)

  • Cosmetic changes over time (fading, discoloration, wrinkling, patina)

  • Damage from misuse: overloading, dropping, pulling, improper storage, carrying more weight than intended

  • Damage caused by weather, water, humidity, heat, or chemicals

  • Loss of hardware pieces, straps, or dividers due to misuse

  • Structural changes caused by prolonged use (creasing, shape changes, interior staining)

  • Damage during travel or transport

  • Accidents or negligence

  • Damage to personal items stored inside the bag

  • Any product purchased second-hand or from unauthorized sellers

  • Any bag altered, repaired, or modified by the customer or a third party

4. Limitations to Prevent Abuse

  • Warranty applies only with valid proof of purchase from gattabag.com.

  • GATTA reserves the right to request additional photos, videos, or physical inspection.

  • If evidence suggests misuse, normal wear, or customer-caused damage, the claim will be denied.

  • Minor variations and imperfections in leather or handmade elements are normal and not considered defects.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To file a claim, email hello@gattabag.com with:

  • Order number

  • Photos/videos clearly showing the defect

  • Description of the issue

  • Full name and address

Customer may be responsible for return shipping.

6. GATTA’s Rights & Remedies

If the defect is approved, GATTA will, at its sole discretion:

  1. Repair the item, or

  2. Replace it with the same or comparable model, or

  3. Offer store credit if repair/replacement is unavailable.

No refunds are provided under warranty claims.

7. Liability Limitations

GATTA is not responsible for:

  • Incidental or consequential damages

  • Damage to personal items inside the bag

  • Loss of use, time, or travel delays caused by a defective product

  • Any claim beyond the original purchase price

This warranty gives you specific rights; others may vary by jurisdiction.
